Its aim is to be a platform for public sector employees enabling the exchange of information and experiences relating to accounting and the submission of accounts in public bodies. Its main function is to run informative events and courses on IPSAS and their implementation. | ||||

| The Institute IPSAS sees its task as being to give the stakeholders of public finances, such as politicians, accountants and equally importantly citizens more information on IPSAS. It is only with specialist knowledge of the new accounting that the IPSAS will be accepted and correctly interpreted. | ||||
